Online Registration for ALL students Now Open

Visit www.shelby.kyschools.us to register your child for the next school year! The thick packets on the first day of school are no longer needed! If you have questions, call your school for assistance!

Also, we are ready to welcome our up and coming Kindergarten students! See the information below!

Three Steps for Kindergarten Registration

  1. Beginning April 1st, go to shelby.kyschools.us and complete online registration for SCPS. Choose the 2025 - 2026 School Year.

  2. Beginning April 1st: Schedule your Kindergarten Registration/Brigance Assessment. Us the QR code in the image to the left.

  3. Come to Kindergarten Registration at your child's school and BRING the following documents.

    • Birth Certificate

    • 2 Proofs of Residency

    • Current Immunization Form

    • Social Security Card

    • Physical, Eye, and Dental Form

  4. Call 633.2375 if you have questions.

SCPS and OVEC present the Community Resources Fair for 2025. Join us for the opportunity to learn about local agencies that offer a variety of services to families of children and adults with disabilities on Saturday, April 12th from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the Blair Center on Southside's Campus, 728 Gingko Drive.
