girl holding trophy for welding competition
On Thursday January 23rd, nearly 90 talented young women from 19 schools across Kentucky and Southern Indiana showcased their welding skills at the third annual Future Women of Welding Competition, held at the UA Local 502 Training Center. This event not only highlighted their impressive talents but also provided opportunities to connect with industry professionals and potential employers. Representing Shelby County ATC was Savannah Priddy and Taylor Pennoyer accompanied by ATC Welding Instructor Mr. John Jenkins. These ladies represented their program very well and we are proud of their accomplishments! Congratulations to Savannah who placed 2nd in the Level 2 competition! #itswhereyoubelong #futurewelder #weareshelbyinspired
